Coppola Pelati Gialli are beautiful Italian yellow peeled tomatoes packed in yellow tomato juice. They have a vibrant and a fresh aroma, are very rich in carotene, less acidic and much sweeter in flavour than red tomatoes. Our Coppola Pelati Gialli are made seasonally during the summer months between August to September with tomatoes grown in the Campania region in sunny Southern Italy. Do you know the Italian name for tomato is "pomodoro" or "golden apple" as at first tomatoes used to be yellow and not red.
