Recipe 1: Orange and Almond Cake
Utensils:
Cake tin
Mixing bowl
Oven
Ingredients:
2 large oranges
200g ground almonds
3 eggs
100g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
Boil the oranges (whole) for 1 hour, then cool and blend into a puree.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a cake tin.
Mix orange puree, ground almonds, eggs, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Let the cake cool before serving.
Recipe 2: Orange Glazed Salmon
Utensils:
Baking tray
Small saucepan
Ingredients:
2 large oranges (juice and zest)
2 salmon fillets
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a saucepan, combine orange juice, zest, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray and brush with the glaze.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, brushing with more glaze halfway through cooking.
