Ok, we admit it. Peas and lentils aren’t, strictly speaking, beans. But Four Pulse Tempeh didn’t have the same ring to it. This tempeh is made from soya beans, black beans, green split peas and red lentils - all organic ingredients.
So get all the high protein benefits of the soya bean whilst adding a little diversity to your bean (or pulse) diet!
Ingredients: soya beans, green split peas, black beans, red lentils, starter culture.
Weight: 3 blocks of 400g
Instructions
"Cooking: Chop up and then fry, steam, bake or grill. Marinade for a few minutes or a few hours beforehand (our favourite: soy sauce and maple syrup) to make your tempeh particularly flavoursome.
Keep frozen. Defrost fully before cooking. Once defrosted use within 48 hours"
Origin
We handcraft the tempeh ourselves in small batches, allowing us to ferment each block to perfection.
