Recipe 1: Roasted Garlic

Utensils:

Baking tray
Aluminium foil

Ingredients:

1 head of garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Slice the top off the garlic head to expose the cloves, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil.
Roast for 35-40 minutes until soft and caramelised.
Serve by squeezing the roasted garlic out of the skins, spread on bread, or mix into sauces.

Recipe 2: Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Utensils:

Frying pan

Ingredients:

300g mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are soft and golden.
Season with salt and pepper and serve as a savoury side dish or topping for toast.
